Photographer's Note

This is the Monument for the Greek Resistance against the German and Italian occupation of Greece at the era of the 2nd World War.

This monument located at the end of Paralia of Chalkis and was built about 12 year ago.

Now, expect the monument, the place is known as "Agalmata" (=Statues) and it's a meeting place for the youth of the city (especially for the young love couple ;))

PS: Sorry for the ugly houses or the electrical wires on the back side, but they are part of the daily life in the area! :)
