Horefto ... July loneliness, a photo from Magnisia, Thessaly

Photographer's Note

July is the best time to visit Horefto one of the loveliest beaches on the east coast of Magnisia. My Lumix 28mm was the camera of two stiched together photos. The time was about 2 pm. Comments are welcome. Enjoy it!

J'aime beaucoup le cadrage, les couleurs le sujet mais est ce une photo originale ou a telle était manipulée avec un logiciel???

Impressionnant ! Je n'ai pas trop compris comment vous avez fait le travail mais le résultat est impressionnant ! J'aime l'oranger de la mer et du ciel mais aussi que le sable soit demeuré bien gris. Beau travail !

Tu foto mercece un Wuau!!!! Es buenísima. Los colores me dejaron loca. Qué cosa más bonita, sobretodo la persona qe está nadando en el mar con una camiseta del mismo color que el parasol. Es un acierto maravilloso.

The colour of the sand and the shadow directly below the chair tells us the true story of the light when you took this shot - dull, flat and directly overhead. Trying to jazz it up with this hideous coloured filter effect has made for a rather nauseating image. The distorted horizon rounds it off.
Of course it's all a matter of personal taste, and I see that quite a few people like it. Sorry Argiris, but I'm not one of them!
I've never liked these coloured filter effects, and I'm afraid I do tend to 'pounce' on them when I see them.
I've never taken hard drugs, but maybe this is the kind of thing that people see when they have a bad trip. Makes me feel ill anyway.
After all that, you probably don't want my advice, but I'll give it anyway - lose the crappy filters, and try taking photos when the light is good - in the early morning or evening. You'll find that the true beauty of natural light is so much better than this horrible artificial rubbish.

Kalispera, Argiri - this is a great picture! just great! I'd like to have it like poster just in front of my working table - to think about sea, and at the same time to be more concentrated - because this shot makes a really creative atmosphere!

χρωμάτων!!!Τα δροσερά πελαγίσια νερά του Χορευτού τώρα είναι πλέον καυτά!
