Volos snowy II
Today the weather changed suddenly and the
snow covered Greece... am sure that tomorrow
it will be very difficult to walk because
according to meteorological new the snow
will cover all Thessalian cities....
we ll see........have a pleasant night..

Hello Costantino,
The trees make fine silhouettes against the strong light and the fairly bright sky. The snow is well exposed and two persons were perfectly dressed to provide some colours.

Hello Dear Costantino,

Snow in Greece!
It seems almost inconceivable, since we associate Greece with warmth and sunshine. It looks as if you had quite a heavy snowfall.
The disturbed snow makes an interesting f/g, whilst the trees and figures are nicely silhouetted against the pale blue of the sky and the sea.

Excellent sharpness and nice textural detail in the snow. Backlight has been well managed and I like the big bg tree with its dark silhouetted tones contrasting with the white snow. The people at right add a splash of colour. The fg pool with reflection is a nice bonus. Tfs!

Hello Costantino,
Apparently everyone in Europe gets a layer of snow in turn. Now it is Greece's turn.
On TV I saw how much it had snowed in Athens.
Not long ago you had spring temperatures in Greece. But the weather has gone the other way.
Nice contrast between the snow and the dark trees looking like silhouettes.

The distance between the field and the mountains in the background is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the trees. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Costantino,
A very nice combination of the snow and some fine sunshine. There were quite a few people enjoying the winter day near the water. The large tree is also well included and its naked branches stand out well from the sky.

The media this morning had photos of a snow covered Acropolis in Athens. Amazing, as it this with water down to the sea. Great one!

An image that always seems unusual to us and is seeing snow at sea level. Here you offer us a very beautiful composition, with the white of the snow in the foreground, the backlighting of the trees is great, especially that of that huge one, whose branches create a wonderful effect.

Hello Constantino, I really like the bare tree silhouetted against the cloudy sky.
It looks really cold with the snow and the cool shades of blue.
Looking at all the footprints in the snow, many people have been enjoying the experience.

Hello Costantino!

It seems we will have to travel to Greece in the future, to get some snow. Rhineland is bare of it, as there was no precipitation in the relevant days at all, while northern Germany drowned in white masses.

It's strange to see Ash Wednesday on the calendar without having noticed any carnival activities before.

There is lot of depth provided by the silhouette of mid-plane, the distant mountain and the near field on which I would have liked to see a paunchy snowman!!
Your exposure for the highlights provided much details in the snow.
