Sunsets are beautiful. The different colours create a nice combination. In this picture there were clouds on the sky and thus there is strong contrast between the light on the sky and the dark sea and sky. This is one view of my neighborhood

The length of the pier is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details pf the boats. The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky. Have a nice day.

that was a great idea to hide the still strong sun behind the flag! It seems as if the flag of Greece had a sun in it!
Nice composition along the harbour with the hills appearing so majestic in the distance and the yachts adding some elegance.

It was an interesting experiment to place the sun behind the flag. It has a nice effect on the light and colours generally. The long, dark pier leads me to the area where the sun is brightly reflected in the sea. The masts are attractive silhouettes against the sky.

Hello Dear Costantino,

You had a good idea, placing the flag over the sun, so it acts like a filter, besides creating a very effective pattern on the flag.
The long pier creates a long perspective to the boats and the distant hills.

An excellent view down the long pier with some sailboats at its right hand side. I like the calm mood and you captured the sun very well through the thin fabric of the flag.

A beautiful photo taken against the sun. Placing the flag in front of the sun is a good way to block out much of its brightness. Great perspective looking along the pier.
