Photographer's Note
A small boat, being part of the Vlychadha fishing fleet, sits in the harbour that is situated in the very south of the island of Santorini, Greece.

Hello Brian,
Your stones on the forground were bigger:-).
The vertical position creates nice layers
in the picture and that creates a nice depth.
Little details like the ropes emphasize
the depth extra. The open spaces (water) makes
the pciture nice calmness.
Friendly regards,
Robert

Good Morning Brian,
I don't think I have ever seen a boat pose for a photograph before! There is always a first time!
The textured rocks make a good f/g introduction and provide a striking contrast to the smoothness of the sea. The boat is sharp and colourful and a perfect focal image.
You know, I might have been tempted to crop most of the sky, which then puts more emphasis on the f/g. Just a thought!
Have a lovely Sunday,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian,
A well constructed composition with lovely light and colours. I like the inclusion of the foreground stones and their beautiful texturing; they make a superb contrasting frame for the wider scene. The image time indicates that it was taken around lunchtime, yet the light has an evening feel about it. Whatever, I like it very much. Have a pleasant Sunday afternoon.

Ciao Brian
bei riflessi e composizione molto curata sono i pregi di questa bella foto nella quale dominano i toni del blu nelle sue infinite varianti.
Molto bello anche il soggetto.

Hello Brian,
it´s your another composition where I´m delighted by the way you captured the foreground. Here we see beautiful stones(in some of your previous shot we could see beautiful small pebbles on the beach).I know it´s just a small part of your composition, but I really like it.Other thing are reflections in the water-they look fabulous and create unique and tranquil mood of the scene.
Have a nice sunday

Hello Brian
What a fantastic reflection and great use of the stones to create the FG. Lovely colours and clear sharp image as always.
I like the cannon balls line - I wish I had thought of that one! I was a little slow this morning - too many single malts last night!

Hello Brian - I like the inclusion of the rocks in the FG, nice and crisp they make a good detail. The small fishing boat is symmetrically placed and your slightly downward view isolates it from the rest of the fleet well. Nicely seen and a well constructed shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Brian,
Wonderful colors on the boat in the foreground as well as those in the BG. The reflection of the clouds and the sky in waters looks awesome.
The big chunks of rocks in front of the boat add a diverse element to the scene.Superb presentation, very sharp shot with an excellent light and POV. TFS.
Best Regards

Hello Brian,
Despite having been taken at the beginning of October, this is a delightully "summery" shot from your beloved Santorini with lovely warm light and magnificent colours.
Perhaps it was not quite as warm as it looks in your photograph, but the composition is lovely and restful, the colours vibrant and inviting and the details and sharpness, as always, exquisite. The reflections of the clouds on the smooth water of the harbour are divine.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian,
Fantastic reflections in the limpid still harbour waters of the clouds with the dual sides of the big fg boat adding lead in lines and perspective. Good sharpness and the tricky lighting has been well managed. Nice warm cold colour contrasts between the blue and red trim. Tfs!
