The Bridge of Milos

This Bridge is consisted of 2 large arches and a pseudoarch. It�s situated Southeast from the village Kipoi in Bagiotiko and about 1 Km before Vikos. It was built in 1748, and its name is taken after the church mill that is situated right next to it. The bridge served the people of Kipoi, who were going for grinding or to cultivate the watering gardens. Also it was serving the people that were traveling to Ioannina the former years, when they used to take a shortcut from the road of Gasoura.

The bridge is related closely with nature and tradition (During the feast of Epiphany the priest throws the cross to the waters of the river from its top). The bridge itself �shows� a calm face along with the rest of the background area.

Γεια σου Αθανάσιε!

Νομίζω ότι τα έχουμε "ξαναπεί" για αυτά τα κομψοτεχνήματα, τα υπέροχα πέτρινα γεφύρια, τα οποία και εγώ αναζητώ σε κάθε εξόρμηση μου. Ο τίτλος της φωτογραφίας τα περιγράφει άψογα! Πολύ καλό κάδρο και σύνθεση, ωραία γωνία λήψης, άψογη διαχείριση του φωτός και υπέροχα χρώματα! Συγχαρητήρια!

Nice little old bridge and a photo seeming to have good clarity... but these intrusive watermarks spoil it all, I understand your concerns but if you fear your images could be stolen (and you are right) don't post them it's as simple as that !

The bridge looks great under a good POV and the picture is well framed. Light is also well managed. Colors are well saturated and look fine.
The logo is in my humble opinion, too big!
I stayed many years in Epirus, but never been there!

The stone bridge is a beautiful piece of the old architecture. The photo in nicely composed with great light, colors, sharpness and very interesting note. Only the large watermark destroyed my pleasure to enjoy your photo in 100%.
