Photographer's Note

For today, after not uploading for a few days I decided to once do something different again, see if you like it.
The evening I took this shot, we we're waiting for our dinner to come to our table in the restaurant. We had dinner at a restaurant in Nidri at seaside. If I'm right, the name was the Pinewood! (not sure though). There I'd find these type of candle's on the table. I found it an interesting subject for a photo, so I stabilized my camera and put it on a longer shutterspeed. With my Ixus 50 I can choose only shutters of >1 sec, for shorter settings the camera does all the work.

Photo Technical details 1 sec @ F2.8, 35mm equivalent. Pattern metering.

PP involved
* Distort : Lens Correction (perspective changes + edge extension)
* Dimmed highlights a bit
* Crop & Resize
* And blackened the background (with Levels and Cloning)
* Smart Sharpen on candle.
* Added simple black border
* Save for web

Just see if you like the idea!

Update : Maybe this fits better on TL though, might move it there if I set up an account someday..
