Photographer's Note

Preveli Bridge as it was built by the locals and the monks of the monastery. It dates back to the 18th century and is located about 2 km north of the old monastery of Preveli.

Cześc Janusz, Bardzo ładny kamienny most, wygląda nawet na starszy niż 18 wiek. Śliczna kompozycja.
Na Krecie jest tyle wspaniałych miejsc. Moje ulubione to było Agios Nikolaos. Ciekawa jestem, czy tam byłeś.

Hello Janusz,
It's a beautiful old bridge, but it is a bit surprising to find it here in what almost looks like a desert. But there is some water flowing under it. It's a nice angle with trees surrounding the bridge. Light and colours are perfect.

Hello Janusz,

This must be an important crossing point, for need of a bridge, though your composition reveals no buildings in the vicinity.

It's a very sweet, regular shaped bridge, perhaps looking even older than it actually is.
I like how you have included the trees; they are useful for creating a sense of depth and adding natural colours to the seemingly arid ground.
