Photographer's Note
This is the east side of the big Agios Nikolaos church, near the Paralia of Chalkis.
Agios Nikolaos (Saint Nikolas), for the orthodox christian religion, is the saint protector of the navy, especially the merchant marine.
This church was build at the middle of the decade of 1950 and now it's one of the biggest in the city. It's an impressive building with hight bell towers and an impressive dome in the middle! A site you must visit!
