Photographer's Note

This is another famous landmark of the city. This building called "House with the Statues" ("Spiti me ta Agalmata" in Greek) and the name was taken from the statues that has at the roof.

This house was an old mansion, it's very close to the "Red House" and now lodge the "Lykeion Ellinidwn", a non profit organization who work on the greek trandition (dances, traditional music etc).

At the past, while the German Occupation of Greece, was the central building for the famous Gestapo. Rumors said, that many greek people, especially that who was at the Greek Resistant, tortured and executed at this house!

It's a must see!

Tomorrow I'll upload a photo with details from the statue who is at the left side of the building!
