Photographer's Note

German steam engine of class 86 demonstrating her abilities at Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum-Dahlhausen, September 1985. Between 1928 and 1943, altogether 776 of them were built. 1030 HP, vmax = 80 km/h.
The coaches were called "Donnerbuechse", literally "thunder cans", due to their noise annoying travellers.

Taken on slide film with Canon A1, professionally digitalized.
