Photographer's Note

This is the house where Jan Hus was billeted during the Council of Constance - which sentenced him to capital punishment and burnt him on the stake.

The site is just beside Schnetztor, a medieval gate less than 300 meters from the Swiss border, and the house bears a Czech as well as a German inscription.
