Photographer's Note

Hochwart was built in 1833 as a belvedere and teahouse on the highest point of Reichenau island, Lake Constance, and can thus be called the maximum of a UNESCO cultural world heritage site.

The wooden building is situated 45 m above the level of Lake Constance and offers a fine view of Reichenau, Untersee, Constance and sometimes even the Alps.

It houses a ceramic work gallery and a small, but pleasant café. I know only few places where to work with a similar view.
