Ahlbeck (polish. Czernin) - resort in Germany, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on the island of Usedom

On the picturesque island of Usedom, near the Polish border crossing, you can find charming resort of Ahlbeck. It was created from a combination of the so-called. ,, 3 Bathing Imperial'', characteristic for its stunning beach resorts, elegant architecture and beaches. Ahlbeck has a number of buildings in the classical style typical of a seaside resort. Most of the buildings located along the seaside promenade, the Dune Street (Dünenstraße). In construction, the background is dominated by whites. Appear on the white background colorful compositions predominantly beige and blue. Characteristic of this type of architecture is a rectangular window on top of soaring towers.

Pier was built in 1899 with a length of 280 m into the sea. In 1993, the pier was restored along the lines of modern architecture. Ahlbeck Pier, one of the few in the eastern part of the Baltic Sea in 1970 was declared a historical monument. On the square in front of the entrance to the pier is decorated with Art Nouveau style grandfather clock with garlands donated by patients in 1911.

The beach and pier in Ahlbeck are visited throughout the year, not just during the summer season. Since 1995, around the pier and on the beach traditionally held Valentine 'swimming walruses, "which actively involves some 200 people. Pier serves as a place for a large audience.
