Photographer's Note

In general, I'm not a friend of cellphone panos, the conversion of straight lines into curves is irritating.
But in this case, this is a necessary completion of my yesterday's post.

View from Hohewart, the islands highest point, over Reichenau island, looking west. The entire island is recognized as UNESCO cultural world heritage.

Situated within Untersee, a fraction of Lake Constance, Reichenau combines a wide garden landscape with vineyards and lots of greenhouses and three medieval churches of outstanding importance. Rhine river leaves Untersee at Stein am Rhein, heading for Basel as Hochrhein (High Rhine, not to be confused with Alpine Rhine). The hillside to the left is Swiss.
