Montvalent is a common Frenchwoman, located in the department of the Batch of the Midday-Pyrenees area, populated of 267 Montvalentais, distributed on 28 km ², that is to say 10 hab. /km ².

Located on Causse of Gramat.
With the foot of the village and cliffs, one finds resurgences of the river of the pit of Padirac and the circus of Montvalent dug by an arm of the Dordogne.
