Hello Bev,
Well spotted - this disparate group of figures - and I include the pigeon, could all be actors in an avant-garde play.
"Four characters in search of a photographer" perhaps.
Even the cast-off newspaper is in just the right position.
It gets my vote for the Turner prize!
Regards,
Peter.

Everybody seem so lonely on this picture - even the pigeon...
Smart picture, good compo with well placed figures.

everything found its right place in your frame! including the right colors! and the four directions! You just spotted an example of our modern society where immediate connection to our beloved is expected, while people walk by without meeting or even noticing people physically close to them in their direct environment...
Nice capture Bev!

Hi Bev,
You have perfectly captured this triangle of disconnected worlds. Each one looking in different directions, each one ignoring the close proximity of the other presences. And on top, that large empty space around accentuating their individuality... Well done!

Hello Bev
A somewhat bleak but accurate image of people whose attention is apparently detached from their surroundings. There is a danger that this means such people will be oblivious to all the remarkable things going on around them. No chance of that with TE members I think!
Best wishes Maggie

Hello Bev,
A very well composed shot that represents an open-ended work of art. Each individual viewing it will have a different interpretation. at least they are not speaking to each other by telephone. The backdrop of the stairs with one person sitting adds some drama.

Bulent

Hi, Bev,
what a brilliant catch. Four such disparate figures in cold and bleak looking surroundings. Each lost in their own world like they don't even see the others. You couln't have posed them for better effect. I love the one bit of red in the bag the girl is carrying. This is just an outstanding shot. Well seen and captured. Warmest regards,
Shelly.

Hi,
Greta instinctive shot Bev, even down to the pigeon. Three figures totally isolated from each other but so close together and somehow connected. Thanks,
Dougie.

Hi Bev. Fastastic set of disconnected portraits. Great arrangement of figures in the frame - it looks almost posed - but I know it isn't! Very arty and yet a simple, effective comment on life today. Kind regards, Paul.

Hi Bev !
I do like the slightly surrealistic mood of your photo. The composition is great. The wide stairs makes great background. Clever photo.

Interesting scene. Nicely framed to get only grey elements in your background.
Cheers!

I like this Bev - you captured the disconnection between these three figures really well, each of them lost in their own worlds, and your clever framing ensures there are no distractions.
Nicely done.
Cheers,
Ben

Nice and simple composition of daily life with a very modern day feel. Aside from having a fall season mood, I like the fact that there is only man-made space, without any trees or flowers.

Hello Bev
An interesting triangular composition which summarizes some of modern life's drawbacks. Have a nice weekend,
Emmanuel
