Photographer's Note
Photo taken in the Botanic Garden of Deshaies, Guadeloupe (French West Indies).
One of my first attempts to get this effect of "smooth water" with a short shutter speed (because I don't have any tripod)
I posted in WS a B&W version.

Amicalement

One of your first attempts got right from the beginning. The tight framing is excellent, but not the frame. There is to much competition between the white frame and the white part of the water. It almost looks like you used flash here. Is that the case?

Your slow shutter speed technique has served you well Sebastien. There is a good sense of movement in the water and the low POV makes this a landscape in miniature.
