Photographer's Note
Still on the same wet January morning in first light. I was trying to avoid standard shots and I found this guy who was a lot more serious in his approach. He made very serious preparations and also had an assistant. In the picture he is in front of his camera adjusting something.
The reason for the silhouette effect is that he is standing under the roof of the peace monument at the end of the park.
Maybe his idea was not so standard after all, the top of the tower were hidden in the clouds from time to time and he might have been waiting for that.
His equipment looked quite professional compared to my matchbox camera but I carried mine around all day, on the other hand his making a living and I am just killing wasted travel time.

So we have a potential theme here? At least your creativity has been sufficient to produce several non-boring photos of the Eiffel tower, a remarkable achievement in itself, even with a bit of wit thrown in for good measure..
The black/silver tones of the photographer+gear silhouette are great, but the handrails on the sides are rather distracting, probably nothing much you could do about it though.

Excellent name and, I agree to the previous speaker, a non-boring photo of the Eiffel Tower. Well seen!

The title only by itself deserve a smiley !!
At first I thought it was a B&W pic. That's an unusual way to shoot the Eiffel Tower, the lady is not the only star on this one ;-)
Well seen, Ebbe.

Great title Ebbe! I've never been on this side of the Eiffel Tower, but the next time I'll be in Paris (by the end of March for work, hehe..) I will have a look for sure. The different shades of grey are nice. It could almost have been a B&W.

OK, you get my two points for the title. If you had called it Eiffel Tower and photographer, would you have gotten them?
Why didn't you post it in b&w? It almost is and the few colours don't add to it. A nice b&w treatment might even improve on that sky.

Very amusing title, Ebbe! Once more a fantastic shot including the Eiffel tower. I like it very much in the pale colors of brown, beige and green; as you say it adds something to the image. And yet that guy as a silhouette and his tripod in greyscale. Well seen and very well captured.
As I understand it (based on the buildings in the background [Trocadero?]) you are facing the Seine, which is on the other side of the tower and on this side of the buildings, right?
I think the police tape was there, to show it's "interdit" to go up that bridge, but that guy broke it... Or something has happened and he's a police photographer... ;o)

Absolutely the most creative title I´ve seen on TE – very-very-very well done.
Very interesting "man at work" shot – and very interesting shot of Eiffel Tower Also I think that this "almost B&W" shot could work even better as a real B%W image. Excellent idea – excellent work out, ebbe.

Well, I must say Ebbe, that this shot is a novel approach to photography. You've caught him in his unguarded moment and the dark silhouette of the man contrasts with the misty background of the Eiffel Tower. This is a good shot.

a very creative title and photo. So many great elements- the 3 arches (the Eiffel's and the other opposite two, The silhouettes of the artist and his object, the almost b/w background and the pale colors of the building. This is a great composition, a great photo and a great theme, Ebbe. I'll wait for more.
