Until February, 9th, we can see in Paris this globe, to announce the Soccer World Cup in Germany this year.
This big globe is made with plexiglas ; it's 9 meters of diameter for 11t weight.

Jusqu'au 9 février prochain, on peut voir ce globe du coté de Trocadéro. Il fait la promotion de la prochaine coupe du monde de football en Allemagne, en Juin prochain.
Il s'agit d'un globe de plexiglas qui mesure 9 mètres de diamètres pour 11 tonnes.

Je poste en workshop une photo que je voulais poster à l'origine et que je trouve finalement moins bien cadrée.

Wonderful shot! I like the perfect simetry you got here. Even the building (a militar school, as far as I remember... am I right?) on the background seems exactly in the middle of tower's archs. And it seems the big ball will be shoot toward those archs. Maybe with less exposure you could show the tower sharper, with more details, but that's just a small detail. Well, the world cup is a fever! And there's a country that may win it for the 6th time, but it's not France...;-)
