Après trois ans , je suis revenu à la Notre Dame d'Afrique.
Haute de 12 mètres se dresse sur une colline la statue de la Vierge Noire, réplique de celle de la basilique de Notre-Dame d'Afrique d'Alger en hommage aux civils tués lors de la guerre d’Algérie.

Salut Adrian,un tres joli hommage a la Vierge Noire qu'on peu trouver a Alger dans une replique parfaite, tu reviens ici apres 3 ans en profitant de cette belle journee' presque printanniere,une capture parfaite avec details top! Belle soiree' et merci,Luciano

Bonjour Adrian,
A première vue un endroit étrange pour trouver cette Vierge Noire.
Les quelques visiteurs nous donnent une bonne idée de la taille de la statue.
Joliment réalisé avec les nombreuses fleurs jaunes à l'avant et le long de la route; un beau contraste avec le ciel bleu.

Very nice composition with this original sculpture of the Virgin located in the middle of nature, a beautiful setting by the way.

Hello Adrian,

The Black madonna makes a very strong focal point in your photograph, especially with her upper body and crown, standing out so clearly against the clear, blue sky.
A fine, sharp exposure.

I wonder if you have a photograph from the front, showing her outstretched arms.
