Cafe scenes are always fascinating, so many stories could be told just looking at the characters..
La Rochelle has many cafes and restaurants which look most appealing at night with lights illuminating faces.
This reminded us of the Edward Hopper painting 'Night Hawks."

Hello David,

It deems a very pleasant terrace with a good cup of coffee.
Almost a painting this picture.
Nice photographed, as colours as presentation.
Excellent composition, nice to look at.

Hello David,

It's good to reminisce about life in pre-Covid days when social distancing wasn't yet an integral part of our vocabulary. Eventually those days will return. I like the warm sepia like tone. Good sharpness and framing. I have been to a few French al fresco restaurants but stick to the mussels and leave the escargots and frogs legs for others. Good sharpness for a nocturnal shot and the arch at right adds a partial frame. Tfs

Hello David,

You don't mention a tripod so I assume that you photographed this freehand; if so, you have done a fine job, in low light conditions.
The atmosphere is full of warm ambience which we seem to be surreptitiously enjoying because of your use of the f/g arch.

A relaxing low light street scene which is correctly white balanced for natural overall colours with contrast nicely pushed up, and the exposition certainly works in terms of light intensity and tonality. That said, this shot offers so many possibilities of becoming a fab photograph. Well done shot, Congrats
