Photographer's Note

Fast food is a type of mass-produced food that is prepared and served very quickly. The food is typically less nutritionally valuable compared to other foods and dishes. While any meal with low preparation time can be considered fast food, typically the term refers to food sold in a restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients, and served to the customer in a packaged form for take-out/take-away.

Fast food began with the first fish and chip shops in Britain in the 1860s. Drive-through restaurants were first popularized in the 1950s in the United States. The term "fast food" was recognized in a dictionary by Merriam–Webster in 1951.

hello Daniel, This time the picture from Paris from you. Nice display of food. I usually do not want to waste time (and money) for restaurants, so Fast food is solution. Nicely composed.

Hello Daniel,
The empty restaurant at night creates a little mysterious mood. I like the many warm colours, especially of the neon letters. I like the vertical frame.

Hello Daniel,
To me, spending time at a restaurant on a journey could sometimes be a waste of money but absolutely not a waste of time. The local food is part of the experience, so Americanized fast food is not for me. On the other hand what I can see here doesn't look like the most typical American food, so maybe I should give it a try. The light and colours and the design of the restaurant make it look quite appetizing.

With the warmth of the lights, this seems like a very difficult shop front to ignore! I think I would be drawn in!
You have angled your photograph very well to draw us into your photograph and made sure that we were able to see some of the foods that were on offer!

Not easy take a picture of a frontage with red neon light, but you did very well.
Also a lovely perspective and depth picture.

It is said that the English eat to live, and the French live to eat. A "fast food restaurant" seems like an oxymoron the universal lexicon.

Hi Daniel,
I eat fast food now and then but try to avoid it. This looks far more delicious and interesting compared to American fast food. It's a well taken food were we can see the delights in a nice presentation. It's also a sharp and clear shot, tfs!

I really like your photo here, its one that i usually do not capture, but I can see why you did. that red glow of light is awesome and creates a neat hot sensation off the screen. simple yet also creative. well executed!

Neon signs are not as common nowadays as they used to be but what an impressive red vibrant image that really leap out of the frame. A most eye catching image with those delicious goodie on display to make sense and this is the sort of opportunity well taken. Well done.
