Stroll in the "herb garden" of the cloister of Saint-Salvi Collegiate in Albi.

"The church is located in the French department of Tarn, in the town of Albi.

In the seventh century, the Albigensian belong to the Desiderii-Salvii family. One of its members to leave his name, Saint-Salvi to college.

In the tenth century the Bishop of Albi, Miron, is cited in the title of transfer of land for the construction of the Saint-Salvi church.

The church is built in the twelfth century and remains the largest religious building in Albi until the thirteenth century, during the erection of the Sainte-CÚcile cathedral. The adjoining cloister is built in the thirteenth century.
