Orangerie in autumn, a photo from Alsace, East

Photographer's Note

A year ago I posted a photo of the exact same place (the Orangerie park in Strasbourg) taken in September, and it was (as I look now) a poor shot. Thanks to TE critiques I think I have improved the results by November. Of course, the beauty of the autumn scenery has the ultimate touch, for what is a photo if not the mirror of the world.

Hello Adina

I think you have captured the colours and mood of autumn very well here. I like the way you have tried to use the branch as a framing device in the upper right corner but it extends a little too far into the frame and interrupts the reflection o the green tree. But that is just my subjective opinion. What I like too is the way you have caught the light on the plant in the lower right corner - that's fantastic!

your autumn picture reflects a world that looks like out of a dream. A great atmosphere and wonderful colors.
