Photographer's Note

A morning photo of Menton taken since the pier Impératrice Eugénie of the Old harbor. At the top of every hill is a cemetery (Vieux Château and Trabuquet) and in the foot we guess the beach of Sablettes.

Une photo matinale de Menton prise depuis la jetée Impératrice Eugénie du Vieux Port. En haut de chaque colline se trouve un cimetière (Vieux Château et Trabuquet) et au pied on devine la plage des Sablettes.

Voilà un endroit bien intéressant comme base dde départ pour visiter cette belle région . Et quand on est matinal , on a des possibilités de photo particulièrement intéressantes . Les reflets et lea lumières sont superbes , mais j'ai toujours l'impression qu'il manque quelque chose quand la magnifique église n'y est pas .

A nouveau une superbe vue de menton doublée par un reflet des plus réussis et qui donne à ces façades ocres un aspect supplémentaire et brillant.
C'est simplement très beau et cela prouve s'il en était encore besoin que cela vaut la peine de se lever de bon matin pour faire des photos. Merci à l'Impératrice Eugénie d'offrir et à sa jetée.

Décidemment, tu t'es vraiment fait plaisir à Menton, tu as eu de belles conditions avec de belles lumières.
Ici, le contraste jaune-bleu fonctionne à plein.

une photo qui me rappelle fortement une des tes dernières, avec ces mêmes couleurs chaudes et ces reflets. Une construction en symétrie et un reflet du ciel qui rappelle qui les lumières réfléchies sont polarisées.

La netteté et les couleurs sont bluffantes, tu as eu de la chance de bénéficier d'une telle météo ! Sais-tu quel est ce grand bâtiment que l'on aperçoit à droite, on dirait un casino, à moins que ce ne soit un centre thermal, ou peut-être rien de tout cela...

Marvellous capture - the clarity and the warm tones. A delightful composition and colours are stunning as is the perfect mirror reflections but the eye is centred fo a strong centre of interest, those cluster of houses on the left look so uniquely compact on the slopes but the concentration creates a strong effect. The light and blue sky enhance the colorful facades greatly. Extremely a delightful image
