Photographer's Note

Even with the Castagniccia with my friend Chinchini
This time, I present the work of a famous cabinetmaker in the center of the island: Abel Raclot .. A small tribute to a man passionate about his art and cultural heritage of Corsica.

He resurfaced chestnut door of the parish church of Croce Saint Césaire.

The current church of Saint-Césaire was rebuilt from 1660 to 1701 at the site of an old building in 1646 mentioned in the report of pastoral visit of Archbishop Marliani, Bishop of Acci and Mariana. It was revised between 1760 and 1783, as show the sources and historical works. The tower was built in 1931, as is indicated in the date range on the work.

Croce is a small village with beautiful houses with high walls. It is also a panoramic site on 25 villages in the region. If it is small there is a camp, a cottage, a house of leisure and sports complex is home of the intercommunal Castagniccia.
