The castle of Brissac is the higher castle of France with its seven floors.
Since 1502, it is the stronghold of the Brissac family. Formerly, it was a feudal castle, its owner wanted to transform it into renaissance castle, its objectives was to destroy the towers.
Only the central part was modified, but work was interupted for lack of budget.
For this reason Its surnamed the new half built castle in an old castle half destroyed.
It's possible to spent a night in the castle, but it's very expensive.

The image is made up of a stitch of two photographs. But you will be able to compare here a version of only one picture.
