From the bottom of the bay of Ster Voen, the lighthouse of "les Poulains" located on the island (encircled with high tide and accessible to low tide) of the same name at the north-western point of Belle-Ile. 10 m more on the right or on the left and the lighthouse is hidden by cliffs…

Ster Voen, protected bay from the swell by the peninsula of Koh Kastell (“Old castle” in reference to the fact that these points/peninsulas were used a long time by our ancestors to be established there because it was enough to build a wall in the isthmus for to be relatively protected from enenies), are used for the anchorage of small boats by means of suspended lines from one bank to another of the bay. A system of to and from makes it possible to approach the boat of the shore in order to embark there.
