The Grand Balcon Sud
The Grand Balcon Sud takes you from the Col des Montets, beyond Argentiere, down to Les Houches, passing through the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve for much of the way. One of the most popular sections runs between Flegere and Brevent Plan Praz, a fairly level traverse that will take around 2hrs.

The route gives you the best views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles de Chamonix, There is generous flora and blueberries in season.

Difficile de ne pas tomber sous le charme devant cette superbe composition.
Le choix du cadrage est judicieux pour mettre en valeur le paysage, la vallée, les montagnes. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour nous offrir une très belle image.

A wonderful Alpine landscape.
Impressive snowcapped mountains and beautiful forested mountain slopes.
I like the inclusion of the town deep down in the valley and your framing with the tree on the foreground.

Witaj Piortrze,
to naprawde wielki balkon z fantastycznym widokiem. Niesamowita panorama, zapiera dech w piersiach. ladne kwiatki na pierwszym planie, kamienie wygladaja troche jak owce u nas na hali, a z tylu chyba sa nawet lodowce. Ta ścieżka po prawej bardzo zachecająca, mogłabym tam zrobic spacerek.

bellissima foto dela MOnte Bianco visto dal versante francese, con inserimento in una composizione molto curata e ricca di bei colori e di piacevoli sfumature.

At that height you would expect wonderful clarity and that's what this has, as well as wonderful colours and light. Great composition of a fabulous spread with those dotted houses down the valley add great sense of scale and height. This is beautifully exposed and captured in fine detail and tones framed by that famous gigantic snowy mountains in the backdrop. What a view of nature wonders and well done for getting up there and share with us, Congrats

Good morning Piotr,
Fantastic view over the valley where Chamonix is located, and the grand massif of the Mont-Blanc.
The Auigills atop and the "small" Glacirer-de-Bossons is most beautiful sight. Combined with the green slops in foregrond trees & flowers covered - all culminate to a fabulous scenery, collected supebly.

Wow! There is still snow on the higher peaks even in August. I regret I didn't have enough time to see this when I was in southern France in August. A superb alpine view with pinpoint sharpness and a magnificent view from a high vantage point. Tfs!
