Red Brouilly, a photo from Rhone Alpes, South

Cette image représente le plafond de la chapelle de Brouilly, édifiée en 1857 au sommet du mont éponyme.
Financé par les dons des habitants du Beaujolais, cet édifice est dédié à la Vierge aux Raisins, gardienne du vignoble du Beaujolais, pour qu'elle en détourne la grêle, les gelées et autres fléaux.
Chaque année le pèlerinage du 8 septembre attire la foule des viticulteurs beaujolais dans cette chapelle.

Ce plafond, à la géométrie soulignée par les poutres blanches, est de la couleur du breuvage qui a fait la réputation du mont Brouilly, rouge.

This image represents the Brouilly vault ceiling, built in 1857 on the top of the Brouilly mount.
Financed by the gifts of the Beaujolais inhabitants, this building is dedicated to the Grapes Virgin, guardian of the Beaujolais vineyard, to divert it from frosts and other plagues.
Each year September 8 pilgrimage attracts the crowd of the beaujolais wine growers in this vault.

This ceiling, with its geometry underlined by the white beams, is the same color as the world famous beverage which made the reputation of the Brouilly mount, red.

Even with the help of the note, it is not easy to understand what it is all about. I believe it needs another photo a bit more explicit. However, I like the graphic aspect of the white and the red as well as the excellent definition on all lines. Well done.

superbe celle-ci, quel chouette détail tout en couleurs et en graphisme... Si seulement les chapelles et les églises avaient des couleurs comme celle-là, j'irai les visiter plus souvent ;)

Well, it took me a while to figure out this image. YOur note definitely helped me to understand what I was seeing. Very nice graphics and colours in the image. The good saturation of the red combines nicely with the clean, white beams. Well seen and composed image JB :-)

JB, un vrai drapeau ce graphisme dépouillé sur fond rouge. J'aime beaucoup ce genre de photos. Je vois qu'elle figure dans le thème de l'alphabet et c'est vrai qu'elle en a la simplicité du dessin.

great grafism. Nice idea for the strong reds those emphasize the frames in curve. It looks like a flag. Simple and great!

Very graphical, in your face! The rotation works well. What an intense red! You need to wear sunglasses going in there! Did you do any asjustments on the red?

Il faut lire la note pour comprendre! C'est magnifique comment tu as cadré les arcs pour faire une image si graphique et presque abstraite. La structure geometrique est superbe, et les couleurs... qu'est ce qu'on peut dire des couleurs? Magnifiques, une netteté superbe, une intensité touchante, un contrast absolument incroyable! J'aime beaucoup cette image si puissante! Félicitations!

Complètement psychédélique et inattendu pour une chapelle ! On penserait plus volontiers à un club ou à une boîte. Incroyable et flamboyant.

I don't know if your are more of a photographer or an abstract artist. This image was a great catch by you and an excellent example of your finely tuned visual skills. You have a fantastic eye for unusual and creative compositions. This image looks like a painting in the New York Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). Fascinating image!

Brouilly Mount is one of my favorites. It's a nice and silky smooth red.
I love the color combo of white and red. Very powerful image JB. I like the simpleness of this image.
Question: What is the Brouilly vault?
