This photo is a detail of a painting which was made in 1987 (and restored in 1997) to rehabilitate the former neighbourhood of silk craftmen. It's painted on a wall of a big building.
It's the most important fresco in Europe: 1200 m².
On this wall you can see the life in the Croix-Rousse area.
