"Hit Him", "Frappe-le", est un conseil souvent prodigué par les entraîneurs de football américain à leurs joueurs.

J'ai essayé de souligner ici la puissance et l'intensité des chocs de ce sport avec un "effet zoom" centrant l'attention sur l'impact et le placage.

Si la mécanique des chocs footballistiques vous intéresse, un très bon article ici, où l'on apprend entre autres que la force dégagée par un plaqueur peut être de plus de 500 kilos, et que l'accélération subie par certaines parties du corps d'un joueur est de plus de 150 G.

"Hit Him" is one of the favourite advices of football coaches.

I tried here to underline the power and intensity of these hits, with a "zoom effect" which forces to focus on the tackle.

If you want to know more about football hits physics, a very good link here, where we can learn that a tackle can produce more thant 1 600 pounds of force, and that some player body parts can undergo incredible g-forces.

Un dynamisme du tonnerre ici accentué par ce zooming très efficace et très réussi.
La désaturation partielle nous attire encore plus vers les joueurs.

It's not my kind of subject or even a style that I normally like, but I have to admit that there is something very appealing about the image that I can't explain. It may be the red that is striking me or the partial de-saturation. All I can say is I like it.

Salut JB,
L'idée est bonne mais la netteté n'était pas possible sous ces conditions. Il reste donc une impression...
Ta gestion des couleurs a donné beaucoup de puissance à cette image.

Tons of movement and G forces. Ashame this guy in the middle got sacked but it's the nature of the game. I've never seen the zoom effect used in sports photography. But what I see here just goes to show you cannot limit technique. Nice work my friend. I would like to see more of this.

Une bonne ambiance US tant grâce au sujet que pour le traitement presque pop (peut être un peu noir pour ne pas mériter le qualificatif).
En tout cas, gros impact !!!

Hello JB.
A photo that for me shows well the action and high impact that this sport encloses.
I like the zoom into the action and the motion feel this photo exhales.
Also the strong reds mixes well with the whites of the photo creating a good impact.
