_1158: Templiers create Sainte-Eulalie, one of the most powerful commanderies of the south of France, also basing the villages of la Couvertoirade and la Cavalerie, on Larzac.
_1442-1450: Hospitaliers build the ramparts in protection against the hostile close lords and the large companies.
_1575: Plundering and destruction of the wars of religion. Rebuilding then, in a less austere style under the influence of the Rebirth.
_1789: Dispersion of the goods to the French revolution.
_1970: Beginning of the reorganization, restoration, and development.

Knights of the Order of the Temple, Templiers.
_1119 : Hugues de Payns, knight originating in Champagne, melt a militia which will become the "Knights of the Order of the Temple". Monks, knights, monks and soldiers, Templiers will defend Jerusalem, and the pilgrims going on the tomb of Christ.
_1291 : following the fall of Saint-Jean d'Acre, the Templar ones are folded up in Cyprus, then in Rhodos.
_1312 : the order is dissolved, and after a lawsuit, the large Master Jacques de Molay and other Templiers are sharp flarings on roughing-hew it.

Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem
Before the first crusade, a hospital is founded in Jerusalem close of the Holy Sepulchre for the Western pilgrims, other Hospitals are create in the wearing of loading Italian and Provencaux.
_1113 : the Hospital of Midsummer's Day of Jerusalem is recognized like an independent hospital order.
_1140 : the Order of the Hospital becomes in military order, with néanmmoins vocation of charity and defenders of Christendom.
_1312 : the goods of Templiers, after their dissolution, are allotted to the Hospital ones.
_1522 : Turkish takes Rhodos.
_1530 : the emperor Charles Quint allots Malta to the Hospital ones. They since are called Sovereign Military Order of Malta or Knights of Malta .
