Photographer's Note

Monze is a little town of Aude (Languedoc-Roussillon), between Carcassonne and the Lagrasse abbey, in the Corbieres area.

The village, formerly fortified, is crossed by the little river called la Bretonne.
To cross the river, there is an old bridge built at the XIIIth century. It has 3 arches and the piles are reinforced by triangular spurs.
The restoration works end.

The village has also a roman and gothic church, Saint-Felix-de-Valois, remains of the fortified walls, like the Carbonac tower and a dolmen, lost in the vineyard.
