Homage to our friend Carper for his famous format.
I publish this third picture of the Puilaurens Castle stitched in two pictures to have more facility to obtain this format without making of Crop.

In its actual position, the fortress thus goes back primarily to the beginning of the royal period in Languedoc between the 13th century until the treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659.
Thee castle was after occupied only by one weak garrison until the revolution.
It is the Cathare castle which is best preserved.

It is very easy to reach level of the castle by car for those which have difficulty to walk, which is not the case for its close neighbor Montsegur.
