Photographer's Note

Doesn't she look worried or concerned here?
As you know children mimic adults'attitude and habits. Maybe the little girl often saw her mother wonder wether the door was locked or not before actually go on have a stroll.

You might wonder what you can learn about the world through this photography...well, for example you can see in the background that in Assas (small village near Montpellier) the houses are made of white stones very popular in the area and employing a large part of handcraft in Languedoc-roussilon. Plus, the door color is typical of that area. In genereal in south of France houses are painted with much more color than in the north (at least the window shutters). In Provence colors widely used are some sort of yellow, red, blue and green...lovely patchwork!
What else can you learn? that the weather was not bad in july there as opposed to the shitty summer anywhere more up in the north of France ;)
