Piscia di Gallu, a photo from Corse, South

Photographer's Note

The waterfall "Piscia di Gallo", in central Corse, is a favourite destination for a nice 45 minutes hike.
The inland in Corse is as beautiful as its coast, with high mountains, and an alpine landscape.
I suppose that in spring, when snowcapped mountains and its amazing coast meet together, it must be really something special and unusual.

By the way, the Corse dialect is much similar to some sort of italian rather than french. Piscia di Gallu is very understandable to any italian: it means chicken's piss.

Hello Stefano,

Interesting picture without any element to guess the scale and the size of this fall.
The photo is nicely graphic thanks to the management of the lightning in dark and highlight tones.
The high shutter speed was good to freeze the water drop. It seems to be the best choice for a fall.
