Photographer's Note
Another version of the early morning picture I took on the port of Bastia. This one is vertical (portrait) and I wanted to capture the graphic of this scene and this is why I chose the B&W. I colored version is nice too with the warmth of the sunrise but I wanted to propose something different that the previous picture. I hope you enjoy it as I do.

Bonjour Stéphane,
Le noir et blanc fonctionne bien sur les photos d'architecture car il met en valeur les contrastes et les textures. La perspective formée par la digue donne un beau mouvement à l'ensemble.
Bien joué !

Bonjour Stéphane - A beautiful monochromatic image with good textural details in a well balanced frame. I like both the toning and the slight vignette.
Warm regards

Hello Stephane,
The black and white seems to enhance the texture of the stone while giving more impact to the overall graphism. Your framing is very meticulous, very efficient (the almost overlapping lighthouses). Congrats.
Have a nice day
