Photographer's Note

Like the title says: It was a flamin' weekend.
Shot on the "Grand Place in Lille in front of the 'Theatre du Nord' while we were (almost) all out to shoot the blue hour.
One of the most surprising things for me to discover was that Lille is a very lovely city, instead of the industrial North French town I thought it was.
Worth a visit!

The two organizers, Brigitte and JeanPierre did a fantastic job to arrange a weekend like this for so many members.
It was very nice to see faces hidden behind avatars and nicknames, and although I'm not very active at the moment, I am glad I came and met so many people.

Thanks very much all you guys for this weekend, and a special thank to Brigitte and JeanPierre.

Hi dear. I had not in mind that this week-end was the one of the TE meeting in France. I hope you had a great time there, as I have had in Barcelone... I love the dynnamism of this photo... Have you noticed that the guy seems to be floating? It´s a funny sensation. You have to post more often, because it´s obvious you still do magic when you click the camera. Take care!

Dag, Rinie. Een mooi lichteffect hier met de zwaaiende vuurbollen. De achtergrond is goed gekozen om de straatartiest te laten uitkomen en de actie te situeren. Ik heb een kleine WS voor jou.

Soms ontmoet je mensen waarvan je eigenlijk niets denkt, en als dan blijkt dat ze juist leuk, amicaal en heel gezellig zijn dan is dat een mooie verrassing ;-)

Het was een echt plezier om je te ontmoeten aan deze bijeenkomst van Rijsel en om de kamer met jou te delen. We herbeginnen opnieuw wanneer jij wil. Wat de foto betreft, zeer goede samenstelling en goed gemaakt vlammen in beweging. Ze zijn het meest realistisch van alle foto's van dit jongleur met vuur.
