La Grande Arche is an opened cube, a window on the world, a modern "Arc de Triomphe" to the glory of the triumph of humanity says the Danish architect Spreckelsen.
The "cloud" fiberglass, directed by Paul Andreu and engineer Peter Rice, is suspended by a system of rods and carabiners in a spider's web of steel cables.
This cloud dominated by the ark babélienne would, by its form, a protector. It is said that when a giant crane began to raise the plate, at 50 metres high, it began to spin on itselfas attacked by demonic forces uncontrolled wind.
