Photographer's Note

Quite a classical view of the bisquine "La Granvillaise" under sail. I have already said much about the bisquines in this picture. They were traditionnal fishing boats of the Mont Saint Michel Bay at the beginning of the 20th centuries, and two of them have been rebuild about 15 years ago. They are very beautiful and very powerful.

I'm in love with that boat (just as Myriam Villert with "Le Belem" ! :) and I'm lucky enough to be able to sail aboard, as often as I can.

Here we see her coming back to Granville, her home town, in the late afternoon, with a fair wind in her sails.
