Photographer's Note

Eye of The Wind - one of the prettiest small tall ships operating in the Caribbean. Originally named "Friedrich" she was built in 1911 in Germany as a gaff-rigged topsail schooner freighter. She was later renamed "Merry" and continued carrying general cargo for many years, over which time an engine was installed and her rig was extensively reduced. She was re-launched in 1974 in the UK after extensive rebuilding as Eye of the Wind with a fine brigantine rig.
