Photographer's Note

The Chateau de Chenonceau is located in the town of Chenonceau in the Indre-et-Loire (France). It is commonly called castles castles of the Loire.

Furnished castle, decorated with rare tapestries and old paintings, flower each season, the private monument most visited France, set with several ornamental gardens, a park and a vineyard.

Chenonceaux station was moved to allow faster access to the castle, offering an attractive service from Tours and Vierzon.

It is subject to classification under the Historic Monuments since 1840.

The castle is actually two parts:

A medieval tower high on the right bank of the Cher, which was remodeled in the sixteenth century.
A main building renaissance built on the river itself, constituting the bulk of the castle.
