Photographer's Note

A view on Notre-Dame d'Orcival (Our Lady of Orcival) in Orcival in Auvergne. It is a roman style church built between 1146 and 1178. It is a historical monument since 1840. It used to be called Notre-Dame-des-Fers (Our Lady of Chains) because it is said to help free innocent prisoners. The church has a statue, the Black Virgin of Orcival, which is the subject of a pilgrimage every year on Feast of the Ascension.
