Photographer's Note

View of lake Leppävesi towards South where highway E63 crosses the lake on a causeway. I didn't make this picture B&W, colours just don't exist. No post processing, except resize and framing. Shot from a train window, so I selected fast exposure on purpose.
f/2.8, 1/500 sec. ISO-640.

Hello Kari,
Not beautiful but very realistic. It could have been anywhere in my part of the world too, where the weather has looked like this for almost as long as I can remember. It feels comforting not to be the only one highlighting the offside of the Scandinavian modern winter.

A very grey and rainy day in December, we've had many of them lately here as well. The silhouettes of the land in the distance just barely emerge from the fog.

Hi Kari,this is the typical grey weather of my my country during December, only today the sun is back but we are waiting new days of snow. The pic is obviously a monochrome but the details aren't bad because the fast exposure. Happy new year and thanks for share,Luciano

a very depressive day to travel. haha. we can feel the cold and humidity and the lack of sun light here. nice view in difficult conditions.
