Photographer's Note
Taken on the first day of June, the bright red house colours of the Royal Arctic Line's boats and containers add a splash of colour to the grey arctic sea and mountains.
I understand the larger of the two container boats transfers the cargo into smaller feeder boats that take their goods to the scattered communities up the west coast

Very crowded scene!
As you say, the red colours give live to the otherwise dull sea.
A splashy sea and some fog (or salty breeze) give an idea of the cold weather that there might be.

Nice shot, captures the battle with mother nature pretty well, color is good and detail is nice and there is no doubt that it is nasty out side.
