Northland, a photo from Greenland, Other

Photographer's Note

In the wintertime in Greenland you are able to see some the sky in very beautiful colors. This photo was taken from my kitchen balcony, which is overlooking the Goodhope fiord. The land in the background is called the Northland, which is a good place to go hunting for raindeer. Its probaly a bit political uncorrect to write this in the x-mas month, sorry kids...

AS I live in the North, I agree: the sky is very beautiful as the sun remains low on the horizon (or disappears) This picture is a good testimony to the beauty seen. I like the line of the horizon where it is.

Amazing colours you captured - I always the idea that there would be quite dark on greenland at this time of year - but it seems your day more like one long set set/rise - thanks a lot for this fine view from your balcony - I would have done the same in your place.
