Photographer's Note
Corselitze (or Korselidse) is a neoclassical manor house from 1777 on the island of Falster in the south-east of Denmark.
The manor was built on behalf of Johan Frederik Classen, a Danish-Norwegian industrialist, major general and landowner who served as chancellery adviser to the Danish king Frederik V. In his will, he left all his assets and possessions to a charitable foundation, Det Classenske Fideicommis, which still owns the building.
I admit it's a blunt frontal view, but capturing the entire house with agricultural adjacent buildings seemed important to me.
Corselitze has an English landscape garden with orchards, a nursery and tree-lined avenues which on our visit we luckily had for ourselves.
