Photographer's Note

Prague is a city of towers. Ancient towers. During the second World War, Czechoslovakia was the first country to fall to Hitler, thus it was spared much of the bombing and destruction that other European cities suffered. During the communist era, due to neglect, the city again escaped the devastating "modernization" that destroyed a lot of old European architecture. Today Prague is a "living museum" of medieval streets and buildings. This view was taken from the top of one those Gothic towers early in the morning. What a view!
---I posted a reworked version of this as a workshop. Please see if you like that one better. Thanks. Eva
